WE WOULD LOVE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
During the summer, we will have one Sunday morning service at 9:45 a.m. The service is also livestreamed. We have children’s ministry for twos through 5th grade.
We have two parking lots at the front (east, close to Colorado Blvd) and back (west side) of the church. Feel free to park in either one. There are handicapped spaces in both lots.
Come as you are! People dress from suits to shorts. To give you some idea, the pastors will usually wear jeans and dress shirts.
If you have young children, we will help check-in your kids in the main lobby so you know they are safe and taught well. The guest services kiosk is labeled “New Here, Start Here”, and there will be some friendly people to answer your questions or point you in the right direction. Our greeting team is also available at the main entrance to make sure you have a great experience.
Our services are designed to help every person worship God in a deep and meaningful way. The worship and message are always Christ-centered and applicable to daily life. The teaching comes straight from the Bible, and our pastors like to engage using multiple teaching styles. We take offering weekly as an act of worship, and we celebrate Lord’s Supper (communion) and baptism regularly.
We want you to get to know us—and vice versa! Coming to church is just the tip of the iceberg. Consider attending a First Step Class, held the first Sunday of each month, where you will hear about North Metro, how you fit, and where you can get connected. You can also reach out using our I’m New contact form.
We hold to the foundational teachings of the Bible and participate and serve as an active part of the Thornton community and beyond. We are connected to the Southern Baptist Convention. As the second largest denomination in the world, we hold to similar doctrinal and missional beliefs, but every church is autonomous. Every SBC church is not the same!
We are serious about Jesus’ command to live out our faith every day. We support multiple missions organizations both locally and internationally. As examples, we support an orphanage in India, and a church, school, and medical clinic in Africa. We give and we go!
Yes! We believe the church is a place for all people to serve using their God-given talents. The pastors and leaders are here to help you find your place to serve.
We are a great representation of our community! People of all ages and backgrounds call North Metro Church home. We believe the local church is actually a place for all people, believing that Jesus will change us to make us more like him.
